Drone Crew Commander

The drone crew commander leads a team of unmanned aircraft system operators at the training center: prepares the system for use, assigns duties among the operators and directs their actions during a mission. When the situation changes, the decisions are the commander's to make; minor faults are fixed by the crew on the spot, and each flight is logged and reported.
Responsibilities
- directing the crew during preparation for and execution of tasks;
- assigning duties among the operators and checking that they are carried out;
- preparing the unmanned aircraft system for operation and checking the equipment;
- making decisions as the situation changes;
- servicing the system and fixing faults on the spot;
- keeping records of completed tasks and reporting to the command.
Requirements
- basic knowledge of operating unmanned aircraft systems;
- ability to work in a team and make decisions under stress;
- communication skills and the ability to set tasks clearly;
- responsibility for the actions of subordinates and the outcome of the task;
- knowledge of radio engineering, electronics and radio wave propagation is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
