The repair company auto mechanic keeps the vehicle fleet of an unmanned systems center on the road: diagnoses faults, repairs engines and their systems, carries out scheduled maintenance and metalwork. The aim is to get each vehicle back on its route as quickly as possible, so part of the work is done not in the workshop but wherever the vehicle has broken down.
Responsibilities
- routine and major repair of the unit's motor vehicles;
- repair of internal combustion engines and their systems;
- scheduled maintenance of vehicles;
- diagnosing faults and determining the scope of repair;
- metalwork and making simple parts;
- fixing breakdowns in the field when required.
Requirements
- vehicle repair and maintenance skills;
- confident metalworking skills;
- ability to work with diagnostic and hand tools;
- category B driving licence;
- experience in a similar position;
- vocational education as an auto repair mechanic is an advantage.
Conditions
- enlisted position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
