A Security Platoon Rifleman helps protect facilities, personnel, and equipment by performing guard and patrol duties and supporting the unit’s defensive tasks with standard small arms. The role requires discipline, adherence to established procedures, access-control awareness, and coordinated work with other teams during assigned missions.
Responsibilities
- protect facilities, personnel, and equipment by standing guard, conducting patrols, and maintaining site security;
- support the unit’s defensive tasks using standard small arms as assigned;
- coordinate actions with other elements, including UAS teams and technical and reconnaissance groups, to ensure synchronized execution;
- participate in repelling attacks and countering sabotage groups within assigned responsibilities;
- control access to secured areas by checking individuals, vehicles, and designated zones.
Requirements
- good physical fitness, endurance, and readiness to work in field conditions and high-pressure environments;
- responsibility, discipline, and careful adherence to safety procedures;
- basic weapons-handling skills (an advantage; training can be provided if needed);
- ability to work effectively as part of a team and operate within defined procedures.
