Drone Repair Technician
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The drone repair technician keeps the aircraft on which the unit's combat work depends in working order: checks their technical condition, calibrates and tests them before flights, fixes mechanical and electronic faults and installs additional equipment. Much of the work is done in the field alongside operators, without a workshop and with little time to spare before a mission.
Responsibilities
- checking the technical condition of UAVs, preventive and routine maintenance;
- fixing mechanical and electronic faults and replacing damaged parts;
- configuring, calibrating and testing aircraft before combat flights;
- upgrading equipment and installing additional hardware;
- field-testing new technical solutions and components;
- working with operators and engineers on how the equipment is used.
Requirements
- knowledge of UAV design and an understanding of their mechanical and electronic systems;
- soldering, electronics and mechanical repair skills;
- attention to detail, responsibility and adherence to safety rules;
- physical endurance and readiness to repair equipment in the field;
- experience in aeromodelling or repairing radio-controlled devices is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- housing, meals and gear provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- training and professional development.
