The assistant head of communications keeps the communication channels between the units of an unmanned systems brigade and its leadership working: takes part in planning networks, monitors the condition of equipment and fixes faults, including during exercises and combat operations. The work is both technical and organisational and includes keeping the service's records.
Responsibilities
- ensuring uninterrupted communications between the units and the brigade's leadership;
- taking part in planning communications for exercises and combat operations;
- organising and monitoring the operation of communications equipment;
- checking the technical condition of equipment and fixing faults promptly;
- ensuring that information gets through during combat operations;
- keeping the communications service's records and coordinating with the brigade's other services.
Requirements
- at least a year of experience in communications or technical support;
- attention to detail and responsibility for keeping equipment in working order;
- ability to act under stress and adapt quickly;
- readiness to travel to the units' different locations;
- teamwork skills.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
