A Combat Medic is a service member who provides first aid in combat areas, evacuates and escorts wounded personnel, monitors the health status of service members, and conducts training in tactical and emergency medicine.
Responsibilities
- providing first aid to personnel in areas of active hostilities;
- evacuating the wounded and escorting them to stabilization points;
- monitoring the health status of personnel and keeping medical records;
- conducting regular training for personnel in tactical and emergency medicine.
Requirements
- medical education is an advantage;
- knowledge of the basics of tactical and emergency medicine;
- physical and psychological endurance;
- stress resilience, attention to detail, organization, and ability to learn quickly;
- fitness for military service;
- age 18+;
- willingness to work in combat zones.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of the period of martial law or service under a contract;
- monthly remuneration from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on the performance of combat tasks and orders;
- guaranteed assignment specifically to the relevant unit;
- provision of personal protective equipment and military property;
- annual leave in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
