Lathe Machinist

A Lathe Machinist manufactures and restores parts by machining metal and non-metal workpieces. The role includes operating and maintaining lathes and related machines, setting up equipment, reading technical drawings, and completing assigned production and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

  • machine metal and non-metal workpieces and produce spare parts;
  • restore worn components through repair and re-machining;
  • set up, adjust, and perform maintenance on lathes and related machines;
  • read technical drawings and work to specified technical requirements.

Requirements

  • ability to operate lathes;
  • knowledge of basic metalworking technologies;
  • ability to read technical drawings;
  • ability to select tools appropriate for the task;
  • attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.

Conditions

  • military service under contract or within a mobilization framework;
  • transfer options for currently serving personnel subject to command approval;
  • provision of required equipment and service gear;
  • training and preparation before starting duties in the role;
  • annual leave in accordance with Ukrainian law;
  • service within an unmanned systems unit.
