A Security Company Rifleman provides guard and defense of military facilities and performs duty at assigned posts to maintain security. The role includes regular firearms training, safe weapon handling, and executing orders from the chain of command.
Responsibilities
- provide guard and defense of military facilities and designated areas;
- perform duty at assigned posts and support established security procedures;
- complete firearms drills and ongoing marksmanship training;
- maintain proper care, storage, and servicing of weapons and ammunition in line with rules;
- follow safety requirements during live-fire training, drills, and routine duties;
- participate in training exercises and carry out lawful orders from the chain of command;
- detect and prevent unauthorized access and other unlawful actions against guarded facilities.
Requirements
- readiness to serve in an enlisted role;
- basic safe weapon-handling skills or readiness to learn quickly;
- willingness to train and follow commander instructions;
- responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail;
- ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures.
