Rigger

The rigger is responsible for moving the unit's heavy equipment safely: prepares loads for transport, slings, stacks and secures them, and gives hand signals during lifting and lowering. Also services, repairs and adjusts the rigging gear. Physical teamwork where the safety of the people nearby depends on sound gear and precise signals.
Responsibilities
- preparing loads for moving and carrying out rigging work;
- slinging, stacking and securing loads;
- giving signals during lifting and lowering of loads;
- repairing and maintaining rigging gear;
- adjusting the equipment used in the work;
- following safety rules when handling heavy objects.
Requirements
- knowledge of transport rigging devices and the ability to use them;
- command of professional hand signals for directing lifts;
- physical stamina and the ability to do heavy manual work;
- ability to work in a team;
- attentiveness and compliance with occupational safety rules.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- access to the unit's psychologists.
