The combat medic works alongside the brigade's crews in the combat zone: gives aid to the wounded at platoon and battalion level, organizes their evacuation to a stabilization point and provides ongoing medical care to personnel. The role means being constantly ready to deploy, working under pressure and keeping medical records.
Responsibilities
- carrying out combat tasks as part of the unit;
- providing medical aid at platoon and battalion level;
- evacuating the wounded and escorting them to a stabilization point;
- ongoing medical care for sick service members of the unit;
- preventing the outbreak and spread of illness in the unit;
- keeping medical records and registers of the sick and wounded.
Requirements
- good physical fitness and resilience under stress;
- readiness to work in an active combat zone;
- medical education is an advantage;
- a completed tactical medicine course is an advantage;
- responsibility and the ability to act when time is short.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- modern personal protective equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
