Welder (Ground Robotics R&D)

The welder in a ground robotics research and development team welds parts and assemblies of prototype ground robotic systems using MIG and TIG processes, prepares metal for welding and makes the necessary jigs and fixtures. This is workshop work within an unmanned systems brigade, alongside design engineers, with quality checks of every seam and adherence to safety rules.
Responsibilities
- welding parts and assemblies of prototype ground robotic systems;
- carrying out welding work using MIG and TIG processes (semi-automatic, argon);
- preparing metal for welding: cutting, cleaning, fitting;
- making jigs and fixtures for one's own work;
- cleaning seams and checking the quality of completed work;
- following occupational and fire safety rules during work.
Requirements
- practical MIG and TIG welding skills (semi-automatic, argon);
- ability to make jigs and fixtures for one's own work;
- attentiveness, responsibility and ability to work in a team;
- experience as a welder in a production setting is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- service in the rear, away from the combat zone;
- housing provided; uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- 15 days of leave every six months and statutory social guarantees.
