Tactical Medicine Instructor

The tactical medicine instructor prepares personnel of an unmanned systems brigade to give aid to the wounded on the battlefield: runs classes under the TCCC protocols, teaches ASM and CLS level courses and drills the standards until they become automatic. The work combines classroom sessions with hands-on field training, kept current with the experience of combat medics.
Responsibilities
- running theory and practical classes on the TCCC protocols using the MARCH / PAWS algorithm;
- training personnel under the ASM and CLS level programmes;
- assessing acquired skills and drilling standards with personnel;
- tracking updates to protocols and relevant orders of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Health;
- bringing the real-world experience of combat medics into the training process;
- maintaining own qualification through recertification, training courses and instructor gatherings.
Requirements
- valid TCCC certificate of the appropriate level;
- ability to explain and demonstrate skills clearly to a group;
- physical stamina for running hands-on training in the field;
- medical or related education is an advantage;
- combat experience within a combat unit is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment provided;
