Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence Operator

The electronic warfare and signals intelligence operator deploys equipment at designated positions, detects and identifies enemy signals and carries out initial analysis of the collected data. This is field work as part of a team; the collected data is passed to reconnaissance units, and the results of each shift are compiled into reports for the command.
Responsibilities
- deploying electronic warfare and signals intelligence equipment at designated positions;
- detecting and identifying enemy signals to obtain intelligence;
- collecting and performing initial analysis of the detected data;
- maintaining the equipment and keeping it running without interruption;
- working with reconnaissance units on comprehensive analysis of the information;
- keeping records of the collected data and preparing reports for the command.
Requirements
- confident use of a computer and specialised software;
- attentiveness and the ability to work with a monotonous data stream for long periods;
- readiness to work at forward positions in field conditions;
- accuracy in record keeping and reporting;
- basic understanding of radio wave physics is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
