CNC Programmer and Setup Technician

The CNC programmer and setup technician makes serial production of parts possible in the brigade's workshop: writes control programs for CNC lathes and milling machines, selects tooling and cutting parameters for the material, and sets up the machine for a specific part. Checks the first part of each batch against the drawing, then supports the production run.
Responsibilities
- writing control programs for CNC lathes and milling machines;
- setting up machines for a specific part and batch;
- selecting tooling and cutting parameters for the part material;
- developing and maintaining machining process procedures;
- producing the first part of a batch and checking it against the drawing;
- supporting serial production and adjusting programs based on results.
Requirements
- hands-on experience programming CNC machines;
- ability to work with G-code and read drawings and technical documentation;
- confident use of CAM software;
- experience selecting tooling and cutting parameters for specific materials;
- knowledge of CAD software is an advantage;
- experience as a machine operator and in launching production runs is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- rear-area service, outside the combat zone;
- housing, meals, uniform and equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
