Staff Training Officer

The headquarters training officer runs staff exercises and prepares plans, schedules and teaching materials for training the units. The work combines planning of the training process, analysis of class results and record keeping, and is carried out on assignments from the head of the group.
Responsibilities
- conducting command-and-staff exercises and staff drills on the instruction of the head of the group;
- drawing up schedules, training and exercise plans and teaching materials in line with standards;
- working out training plans for units (teams, companies), summarizing and introducing best practice;
- advising unit commanders on effective planning of their work;
- keeping official records of class attendance and exercise results;
- carrying out tasks and assignments from the head of the group.
Requirements
- ability to track the training level of units and analyze class results;
- ability to prepare analytical reports;
- ability to draft combat and staff documents clearly and correctly: orders, directives, inspection reports;
- proficiency in specialized military information systems, mapping software and standard software packages.
Conditions
- service through mobilization or under contract; transfer for personnel already in service;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- supply of food and clothing;
- medical support for service members;
- paid leave every year and social guarantees provided by law.
