The deputy battalion commander for armament is responsible for the condition, accounting and readiness of standard weapons in a battalion that operates unmanned aerial and ground robotic systems and electronic warfare equipment. Runs weapons briefings and training, keeps the records, checks ammunition storage and prepares proposals on equipment.
Responsibilities
- checking the condition of the battalion's weapons and their readiness for use;
- keeping records of weapon holdings and condition;
- running briefings on the use and maintenance of weapons;
- conducting personnel training in handling standard-issue weapons;
- checking the storage conditions of weapons and ammunition at unit locations;
- preparing proposals for improving the equipment of the sub-units.
Requirements
- experience of military service;
- knowledge of weapons, military equipment and their maintenance;
- knowledge of military service requirements and governing documents;
- a relevant military qualification is an advantage;
- combat experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus statutory benefits;
- annual paid leave, additional leave and statutory social guarantees.
