
Deputy Commander for Psychological Support
The deputy commander for psychological support is responsible for the mental state of the personnel: assesses newcomers, monitors the condition of service members in the subunits, identifies people in crisis and works with them, and plans recovery measures. The work is in an assault unmanned systems brigade, in the combat zone, in daily contact with commanders.
Responsibilities
- psychological screening and assessment of newly arrived personnel;
- monitoring the mental state of service members in the subunits;
- identifying people in crisis and working with them;
- conducting preventive and corrective psychological sessions;
- planning measures to restore psychological resilience;
- helping commanders resolve conflicts within teams;
- preparing recommendations for improving the psychological climate.
Requirements
- higher education in psychology or pedagogy;
- readiness to work in the combat zone;
- communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people;
- stress resilience and composure when working with people in crisis;
- military service, including combat experience, is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support at each stage of enlistment and service.
