Deputy Company Commander for Psychological Support

The deputy company commander for psychological support works directly with the company's soldiers: counsels them after difficult missions, runs individual and group sessions on coping with combat stress and provides emergency help in a crisis. Stays close to the personnel day to day, keeps track of their condition and reports to the company commander.
Responsibilities
- counselling the company's soldiers on stressful situations and anxiety;
- working with traumatic experiences and fears among the personnel;
- conducting individual and group psychotherapy sessions;
- developing and running stress management training;
- providing emergency psychological support in crisis situations;
- keeping daily reports and logs on the condition of the personnel.
Requirements
- university degree in psychology;
- empathy, communication skills and emotional resilience;
- ability to build rapport with soldiers and work as part of a team;
- computer literacy and record-keeping skills;
- additional certificates and qualifications are an advantage.
Conditions
- position for officers: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in full;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
