Chief of Engineer Service

The chief of engineer service provides the units of an unmanned systems brigade with everything needed for fortification: organises the supply of engineer equipment, obstacle barriers and stores, determines requirements and draws up requests. Keeps records of engineer vehicles and equipment, monitors their technical condition and runs engineer training sessions for personnel.
Responsibilities
- organising the supply of engineer equipment for fortifications;
- supplying the units with obstacle barriers and engineer munitions;
- providing the units with the engineer stores they need;
- keeping records of engineer vehicles and equipment and monitoring their technical condition;
- determining the units' engineer equipment needs and drawing up requests;
- running engineer training sessions for personnel.
Requirements
- relevant engineering education;
- understanding of construction and engineering;
- knowledge of fortification types and obstacle systems;
- skills in property record keeping and documentation;
- responsibility, discipline and respect for the chain of command.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 30,000 to UAH 60,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
