Electronic Warfare System Chief

The electronic warfare system chief leads the crew of a station that monitors and controls the airwaves over the training center's ranges. The role covers deploying and configuring the equipment, choosing operating modes to match the current radio environment, keeping stations, antennas and power sources serviceable, and training the operators of the crew.
Responsibilities
- organizing and carrying out electronic warfare tasks;
- leading the system crew during missions;
- deploying, configuring and packing up the system's equipment;
- analyzing the radio environment and selecting the station's operating modes;
- monitoring the technical condition of stations, antennas and power sources;
- training the system's operators;
- keeping operating records and documentation.
Requirements
- technical education in electronic warfare or radio engineering;
- understanding of radio wave propagation and how electronic warfare equipment works;
- experience operating radio-electronic or radio-technical equipment;
- confident computer skills;
- organizational skills and the ability to lead a crew.
Conditions
- contract service or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, meals and necessary equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
