The head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection service makes sure the brigade's personnel are protected from these hazards. The work combines planning protective measures and keeping individual and collective protective equipment ready with monitoring the situation and holding regular training sessions for service members.
Responsibilities
- organizing radiation, chemical and biological protection of personnel;
- developing and implementing the unit's plans for protection against radiation, chemical and biological hazards;
- checking the condition and readiness of individual and collective protective equipment;
- organizing radiation and chemical reconnaissance in the unit's area of operations;
- conducting training sessions for personnel on protective measures;
- keeping records of the service's equipment and replenishing stocks in time.
Requirements
- higher education in a field related to radiation, chemical and biological protection;
- experience in this field, including organizing protective measures;
- category B driving license and driving experience;
- a category C driving license is an advantage;
- prior military service is an advantage.
Conditions
- officer position; service under contract or through mobilization, transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 30,000 to UAH 60,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in line with standard allowances;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- social package and benefits provided by law.
