Platoon Sergeant

The platoon sergeant is responsible for the cohesion and readiness of the platoon's personnel: leads the platoon's sergeants, plans and runs training sessions, monitors the condition of weapons, equipment and gear, and maintains discipline. Keeps records of personnel and property and reports daily to the platoon commander on whether the troops are ready for their tasks.
Responsibilities
- leading the work of the platoon's sergeants;
- organizing and running training sessions for personnel;
- monitoring the technical condition of the platoon's weapons, equipment and munitions;
- maintaining discipline and regulation order in the platoon;
- keeping records of personnel, gear and personal protective equipment;
- reporting to the platoon commander on personnel readiness for tasks.
Requirements
- experience serving in non-commissioned officer positions;
- knowledge of military regulations and the basics of unit management;
- leadership qualities and the ability to motivate personnel;
- practical skills in working with personnel;
- good organization and the ability to make decisions under time pressure.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 23,000 to UAH 123,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus statutory benefits;
- annual paid leave and additional leave.
