The 6th Recruitment Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces is seeking an IT Specialist to ensure the stable, reliable, and secure operation of the unit's internal infrastructure. The role involves administering Windows and Linux servers, managing virtualization systems and NAS, configuring secure networks (VPNs, firewalls), and providing technical support for workstations within a classic office environment with high data protection standards.
Responsibilities
- ensure stable operation of internal IT systems (virtual machines, NAS, local services);
- maintain, administer, and monitor servers (Windows Server, Linux);
- configure and support secure VPN connections, routers, and firewalls;
- organize regular data backup operations and prompt data recovery procedures;
- deploy, configure, and maintain office workstations (PCs, laptops, Hardware/Software);
- participate in designing and building a secure IT infrastructure for the unit;
- conduct technical audits and regular system vulnerability and security checks.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Specialist;
- knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), Windows Server, and access control management principles within these OS;
- experience working with virtualization systems (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox);
- solid understanding of secure network infrastructure principles and basic information security fundamentals;
- experience configuring network hardware (MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or equivalents) is preferred;
- knowledge of secure network architecture, encryption tools, and Email Security Gateways is an advantage;
- systemic thinking, ability to prioritize tasks, and strict adherence to deadlines.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or service under contract;
- possibility of transfer for currently serving military personnel subject to approval by their immediate commander;
