Radio and Network Technician

The radio and network technician builds and maintains the training center's communications: plans computer and radio networks, configures MikroTik routers and Ubiquiti radio relay links, lays cable and troubleshoots faults on the lines. The work is hands-on installation, mostly in the field and including work at height, within the communications section.
Responsibilities
- planning and building the center's computer and radio networks;
- configuring MikroTik routers and radios;
- deploying radio relay links on Ubiquiti equipment;
- laying and installing communication cable lines;
- checking link quality and troubleshooting faults on the lines;
- keeping records of communications equipment and maintaining it in working order.
Requirements
- skills in planning and building computer networks;
- experience configuring routers and wireless access points;
- ability to work with Ubiquiti radio relay stations;
- knowledge of computer hardware, experience at an internet provider or in technical support is an advantage;
- physical readiness for installation work at height and cable crimping.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniforms, meals and necessary equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and social guarantees under the law.
