The senior combat medic organizes medical support for a unit of the training center: leads the platoon medics, goes out on casualty evacuations and provides first aid. The role includes keeping medical supplies fully stocked, tracking sick personnel and the overall health of the unit, maintaining medical records and teaching service members first aid skills.
Responsibilities
- organizing the work of platoon combat medics;
- going out on casualty evacuations and providing first aid;
- checking the availability and completeness of medical supplies;
- keeping records of sick personnel and monitoring the unit's health;
- teaching personnel first aid techniques;
- maintaining the unit's medical records.
Requirements
- experience providing medical support to a unit in combat conditions;
- knowledge of first aid protocols;
- skills in maintaining a unit's medical records;
- organization, resilience under stress and attention to detail;
- ability to learn quickly and act under time pressure;
- physical endurance for working with casualties in the field.
Conditions
- contract service or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, meals and necessary equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
