Platoon Commander and Instructor

The platoon commander and instructor combines command of a training platoon with teaching: instructs cadets in a given specialty in the classroom and in the field, assigns tasks to subordinates and keeps regulation order in the platoon. The role also covers preparing teaching materials, tracking cadets' progress and looking after the platoon's training equipment and property.
Responsibilities
- teaching under the center's training programs in the classroom and in the field;
- leading the training platoon and assigning tasks to subordinates;
- developing teaching materials and improving training programs;
- maintaining military discipline and regulation order in the platoon;
- monitoring the condition of the platoon's training equipment and property;
- keeping records of cadets' progress and training documentation.
Requirements
- combat experience and practical knowledge of the specialty;
- readiness to teach service members with different levels of knowledge;
- leadership qualities and the ability to lead subordinates;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- ability to work in a team and follow established procedures;
- teaching skills and public speaking experience are an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
