Platoon Commander

The platoon commander is responsible for the platoon's people and their training: plans and oversees classes under the training center's programs, assesses subordinates' level and works separately with those who fall behind. The commander also keeps discipline and order in the platoon, looks after assigned weapons, equipment and property, and reports to the company command.
Responsibilities
- leading the platoon's personnel and its daily activities;
- planning and overseeing classes under the training programs;
- maintaining military discipline and regulation order in the platoon;
- monitoring the condition of weapons, equipment and property assigned to the platoon;
- assessing subordinates' level of training and working with those who fall behind;
- keeping platoon records and reporting to the company command.
Requirements
- combat experience and experience commanding subordinates;
- leadership qualities and the ability to organize the unit's work;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- ability to work in a team and follow established procedures;
- discipline and readiness to demand it from subordinates.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer available for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- full uniform and food provision;
- annual paid leave and social guarantees under the law.
