
Support Unit Driver (Category C or D)

The support unit driver moves personnel and cargo for an unmanned systems center in category C and D vehicles, that is trucks and buses, along the unit's routes. Inspects the vehicle before every trip, handles minor repairs on the spot and keeps it roadworthy so that a trip is not lost to a small fault. Work follows a trip schedule within the support unit.
Responsibilities
- driving category C and D vehicles along the unit's routes;
- transporting personnel to task locations and back;
- transporting military cargo and unit property;
- daily inspection of the vehicle before setting out;
- minor repairs and keeping the assigned vehicle in working order;
- following traffic rules and safety procedures on the road.
Requirements
- category C or D driving licence and experience driving such vehicles;
- knowledge of vehicle design and its main systems;
- ability to service the vehicle and carry out minor repairs unaided;
- attentiveness at the wheel and responsibility for passengers and cargo;
- vocational technical education is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
