The head of the combat veterans affairs group makes sure the brigade's service members receive combat veteran status on time, together with the guarantees that come with it. This is office work: collecting and preparing documents, advising personnel, corresponding with government bodies and checking that records in the units are kept correctly.
Responsibilities
- organising the group's work and assigning tasks to its specialists;
- advising service members on how to obtain combat veteran status;
- explaining the social guarantees that come with this status;
- preparing and filing document packages for granting the status;
- corresponding and coordinating with government bodies and the brigade's units;
- checking that records and documentation in the units are kept correctly;
- providing unit commanders with information on status matters.
Requirements
- higher or vocational education, preferably in law or management;
- understanding of the legislation on combat veteran status and social guarantees;
- skills in handling documents and electronic registers;
- attention to detail and good organisation;
- ability to communicate with people and resolve organisational issues;
- experience with documentation or in personnel departments is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
