The paramedic provides first medical aid to the wounded and sick in the units of an unmanned systems brigade, organises their evacuation to field hospitals and carries out regular check-ups of personnel. Is responsible for medical records, the stock of medicines and the condition of equipment; when needed, works directly at forward positions.
Responsibilities
- providing first medical aid to the wounded and sick;
- organising and escorting evacuation to field hospitals;
- carrying out check-ups and monitoring the health of personnel;
- running preventive measures against illness;
- keeping medical records and accounting for medicines;
- preparing medical equipment and keeping it in working order;
- coordinating with the units on the organisation of medical care.
Requirements
- medical education as a paramedic, nurse or physician;
- knowledge of first aid basics and casualty evacuation;
- ability to work in field conditions and under stress;
- physical endurance and readiness to work at forward positions when needed;
- experience in healthcare is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
