Electronic Warfare Platoon/Company Commander

Leads an electronic warfare platoon or company and is responsible for day-to-day management of the unit. Plans, coordinates, and supervises mission execution, trains personnel, and maintains unit readiness. Ensures discipline, cohesion, and proper condition of the unit’s equipment.

Responsibilities

  • manage personnel and oversee the unit’s daily operations;
  • carry out tasks in line with orders and instructions from senior commanders;
  • train subordinates, assign tasks, and supervise execution;
  • maintain unit readiness, organise regular training, and support professional development;
  • report to senior commanders on the unit’s status and results;
  • ensure military discipline and coordinated teamwork within the platoon/company;
  • organise the operation and maintenance of electronic warfare equipment;
  • ensure the readiness of the unit’s core equipment and standard weapons.

Requirements

  • commissioned officer rank;
  • leadership skills, responsibility, and willingness to learn and develop;
  • readiness to serve in operational areas where missions are carried out;
  • confident PC skills and ability to use communication tools;
  • understanding of the principles behind electronic intelligence and electronic warfare systems;
  • basic knowledge of radio communications and radio wave propagation;
  • education in radio engineering or experience in setting up radio-electronic equipment will be an advantage;
  • experience in system administration or programming will be an advantage.

Conditions

  • service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law;
  • transfer options for active service members subject to approval;
  • monetary allowance from 25,000 UAH depending on location and service conditions;
