
Electronic Warfare Operator

Performs electronic warfare tasks to detect and suppress enemy radio signals and control links. Operates EW equipment as part of a unit, adjusts it to mission-specific conditions, and monitors the outcome of its use. Coordinates with adjacent teams to respond quickly to enemy drones and other radio-electronic threats.
Responsibilities
- analyse and identify radio-electronic signals from enemy systems;
- set up, maintain, and operate electronic warfare equipment to suppress or block signals;
- conduct electronic suppression of enemy UAVs of various types;
- detect and counter other enemy radio-electronic capabilities as they emerge;
- coordinate with other units to ensure effective and timely EW support;
- assess the effectiveness of EW actions and adjust settings and methods accordingly;
- keep EW equipment operational and prepare it for mission execution.
Requirements
- vocational or higher technical education in electronics, radio engineering, or communications;
- understanding of how radio-electronic systems and electronic warfare tools work;
- strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team;
- ability to react quickly and make decisions under stress;
- willingness to learn and develop in the field of electronic warfare;
- experience with radio-electronic equipment or in communications will be an advantage.
Conditions
- contract service or mobilisation for the duration of martial law;
- monetary allowance from UAH 20,000 depending on missions and service conditions;
- assignment to the designated unit;
- provision of personal protective equipment and required military gear;
- annual leave in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
