The deputy battalion commander for logistics makes sure personnel have everything they need at their deployment sites: organizes the supply and storage of materiel, meals and living conditions. This is an officer position in an unmanned systems brigade battalion, covering resource planning, oversight of kitchens, laundry and bathing facilities and accommodation of troops.
Responsibilities
- organizing the supply, storage and distribution of materiel;
- overseeing the provision of fuel, ammunition and spare parts to the units;
- overseeing the preparation and serving of meals to personnel;
- supplying the units with food and kitchen equipment;
- arranging accommodation for personnel at deployment sites;
- overseeing laundry and bathing services and utilities.
Requirements
- higher education;
- knowledge of how logistics support is organized;
- discipline and high standards for oneself and subordinates;
- leadership and organizational skills;
- ability to plan work with limited resources.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine may transfer;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- statutory benefits and social guarantees.
