Battalion Personnel Group Chief

The battalion personnel group chief makes sure the personnel records match who is actually present: reconciles headcount with the units, resolves discrepancies and processes personnel paperwork. Prepares briefs and reports for the battalion commander on personnel matters and leads a small group of officers within the battalion headquarters.
Responsibilities
- organising the day-to-day work of the battalion personnel group;
- monitoring how authorised, listed and actual personnel strength is recorded;
- reconciling records with the units and resolving discrepancies;
- processing personnel documents for appointments and transfers of service members;
- taking part in preparing reports and statistics for higher command;
- preparing briefs and reports for the battalion commander on personnel matters.
Requirements
- higher education;
- experience in personnel work, in a line unit or in a personnel office;
- knowledge of military decision-making procedures and the field regulations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- confident computer skills and experience with record-keeping spreadsheets;
- organisation and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
