The platoon combat medic provides medical aid to the platoon's servicemembers, takes part in evacuation and trains personnel. Works under stress, where the outcome of the aid depends on attention to detail and quick, correct decisions.
Responsibilities
- providing medical aid to the platoon's servicemembers;
- giving first aid according to established standards and procedures;
- taking part in evacuation;
- training personnel;
- making quick decisions in stressful situations while providing aid.
Requirements
- combat experience will be an advantage;
- completed combat medic training or other medical courses;
- knowledge of the standards and procedures of first aid;
- ability to work in stressful situations;
- attention to detail and the ability to make quick and correct decisions.
Conditions
- service under a contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- statutory social guarantees and annual paid leave.
